Shout out to tonight's staff! I just had the most beautiful chicken sandwich with a bunch of crispy fresh lettuce and they actually remembered the hot chili seasoning packet for my chili. We also got some delicious crispy nuggets. I was impressed enough to write a yelp review!

Stopped in for a small chocolate frosty. Waited 5 minutes or more with one car ahead of me. Pulled up to pay and was handed my frosty, with a straw. Now, maybe it's just me but I've never been given a straw. So I kindly asked for a spoon and was told that she would have to go find one. I waited. The employee returns, barely looks at me, states they do not have spoons, and closes the window. What Wendy's doesn't carry spoons? Would I have been given a straw had ordered the chili too?

I've LITERALLY never been to a worse Wendy's, let alone fast food restaurant in general, in my entire life. After saying "I'll never go to that Wendy's again" for the 10th time, I really mean it this time. The orders are always wrong... Always. Like they cannot even get a jr bacon cheeseburger. EVER! I feel like I was taking crazy pills thinking the employees would know that a jr bacon cheese burger has not only bacon but get this... Also... It has cheese on it. Please close this location. I hate looking at it.

Aids? Or this Wendy's.... Honestly It's like the same thing. This place has failed me and everyone who's like. "Hey is there a Wendy's?" I tell them no in hopes they just go to McDonald's. Or a back alleyway where a crackhead who makes his own burgers. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST service, nothing is right. Like when you say can I have fries, they must think fries is another language for, take as long as possible and don't put anything resembling a potato in that person's bag. I go to the further one on Woodward. At least that place hasn't failed me yet. Seriously if you're feeling like taking vengeance for every person unfortunate enough to come here, take a dump in their store. I'm very salty about my 6th messed up meal, hell after I eat this overcooked Baconator, I may just come back to tell them they charged and didn't give me fries, and then proceed to defecate on their floor. This place is garbage.

Avoid at all costs unless you have screaming children demanding substance at that very moment. Horrible horrible service. Twenty five min wait time and the foods cold. This franchise needs serious help. Every friend and family member I know refuses to even grace the drive thru. Avoid!!

When the rare mood for fast food hits, I prefer Wendy's hamburgers, chili, and addictive sea salt French fries to most other chains. Their dollar menu pairings can make a satisfactory meal without too much damage to wallet or stomach. Ferndale lacks a Wendy's with consistent service, so I have stopped in on occasion to the Wendy's on 9 Mile just off the I-75 exit hoping that a higher traffic area might produce better food and speedier service. Sadly my hopes were dashed by a long wait in the drive-thru for a three item order on the four occasions I've been here. I waited in line between ordering and pickup, once long enough to hear most of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR. Fast food typically means quicker than I could slaughter the cow, carve the meat, grind it up, slap it in a pan and fry it up myself. For the record, my orders are rarely complex, at most 'no mayo on that sandwich' or 'diet Coke.' The friendly and well-meaning staff get the order and cash taken right, but they lose points on getting my food to me fresh, hot, and correct. Lukewarm chili and mushy, cold French fries are trials and tribulations no poor, hungry commuter wants to face. Chicken sandwiches are delivered with the mayo I asked not to be put on, and I always feel guilty about going back to ask for a correction. I dislike mayo as a matter of preference, but I'd be concerned for accuracy with food allergies. Another point: I check compulsively for straws, napkins, and spoons now because they are often left out. I have never eaten in the restaurant, so I can't speak to cleanliness. This Wendy's has friendly employees, but it needs a bit of work before it can reach the level of a good standby.

Hands down the worst Wendy's I have ever been to. The absolute slowest service and a 50% chance of your order being wrong or disgusting. In a previous visit, the entire staff ignored me until the song they were singing together was finished, then treated me like I was invading their space. I will drive a little further to go to a location that is a little better.

I've been to this Wendy's twice. The first time, the patty on my Spicy Chicken Fillet was soggy and the fries limp. The second time, the patty was soggier, fries limper, and my Diet Coke was neither diet nor a Coke product. I do know the difference between Pepsi and Coke, so how regular Pepsi ended up in my cup at a restaurant advertising Coke products is beyond me. Maybe they've got Little Nicky in the kitchen, who knows?
